My(Your) Personal Brand

I don’t know why it took me so long to buy my domain name? It makes no sense not to have it.  It’s also the best way to control your “web identity”.  There are so many random results that come up when you “google” your name but your self-titled destination is most relevant and controlled.  You are the curator for the content represents you and your story.

Maybe that’s what took me so long to buy the domain…I didn’t know what to put there.

My recess will be dedicated to exploration, experimentation, and self-evaluation.  I will also (the date that marks my precious birth) complete a brand identity exercise similar to what brands employ when trying to establish their ideals, values, and what it stands for.  Hopefully I will gain clarity on an andrewoolery.com that perfectly suits what I represent.

Ultimately this summer’s recess will serve as a time to establish my personal brand that will serve as a north star for my life’s travels.
